Osteoglossum (gr.) to oste . on : bone; (gr.) e gloss . a : tonge, "bony tongue":
bicirrhosum : bi in connection with an adjektiv: two, double; (lat.) cirr : fringe, curl, hair;
(cirrh = misspelling of cirr).
